It was a chance for my dad and me to create a bond that would one day prove to be the backbone of our relationship and a huge part in how close we became. It never mattered what I did, I always wanted to be the best.
If I would lose at something, anything, then I would practice and practice until I couldn't lose. This was when I really started to learn the game and understand what it took to play at the highest level. I was surrounded with the biggest names in the business and was able to learn from the best coaches in the world.
My game had evolved and I was now being respected in the pro ranks as a threat on the field. By the time I was 18 years old I had won two World Championships and countless other professional events. No matter how good you get, you can always get better, you can always learn, and you should never get complacent. From student to teacher I continued to grow with the sport, becoming a young veteran in the game. I taught my first clinic when I was 16 and by the time I was 21 years old I was teaching at least 5 a year.
Thats a small number now but at the time it was a lot for me. For players with two or three scores, the top D4 or lower score is dropped and the rating is the sum of all the remaining scores. A player starts the season in the highest class in which their Player Class Rating exceeds the point threshold for that class in the "Start of Season" table.
If a player plays in a division higher than the class at which they started the season, AND earns enough points to exceed the point threshold in the "Anytime" table for that division, the player will be immediately promoted to that division. Note that Pro and Semi-Pro have the same point limits. In order to advance to Pro, a player must have played at least 2 Pro events within the past 2 seasons. You may be promoted to a higher division at any time during the season, or at the end of a season.
The number of points needed to be promoted at the end of a season are lower than the number of points needed during a season. Promoter Information Contact Us. Show Details.
